Spring is in the air, and that means one thing—tulip season! Imagine standing in a sea of vibrant blooms, the golden light of sunrise kissing the petals (and your pup’s adorable snoot). There’s something utterly enchanting about this fleeting moment, and we’re here to capture it forever.
Tulip Sessions at Terri Jacobson Photography are a once-a-year opportunity to celebrate your dog against one of nature’s most stunning backdrops. But, before we dive in, let’s talk tulip etiquette—because while we love them, we also deeply respect them.
A Love Letter to the Tulips
Tulips are delicate, fleeting, and deserve all the admiration in the world. That’s why all dogs must remain on a leash during their session and stay on the designated paths—no tiptoeing through the tulips here!
Also, while your pup might be tempted to 'leave their mark' on these beautiful blooms, let’s do our best to keep the tulips pee-free. The flowers (and the photographers) will thank you!
As we move through the gardens, I’ll be constantly on the lookout for the best angles and magical moments to capture.
Don’t worry; with a little magic (and Photoshop), we’ll make sure those leashes disappear in your final portraits.
Our goal is to honor the flowers, the farm, and the joy they bring every spring.

Tulip Farm Entry – Once we have your session date set, you’ll need to purchase your tickets directly through the Wooden Shoe website: https://www.woodenshoe.com. After your session, feel free to stroll through the gardens at your leisure and soak in the beauty of the tulips.
