Buddy the Brave: Big Ears, Bigger Personality

At ten years young, Buddy is living proof that age is just a number—especially when there are still so many zoomies left to run and couches left to nap on. This uniquely adorable Chinese Crested/Wiener Dog mix is currently in foster care, and he’s winning hearts everywhere he goes (and barks).

Let’s get one thing straight—Buddy is no shrinking violet. He’s confident, opinionated, and not afraid to speak his mind, especially when he spots another dog. A few barks here and there? Just Buddy making sure the world knows he’s present and fabulous.

But once the front yard patrol is done, he transforms into a world-class snuggler. His favorite hobbies include burrowing under soft blankets, soaking up sunshine from a perfectly placed couch cushion, and curling up beside his person for a long nap. He’s a master of cozy.

Walks? Yes, please. Treats? Don’t even need to ask. Buddy’s still got plenty of pep in his step, and he loves a good stroll where he can sniff, explore, and, occasionally, make important announcements to the neighborhood.

He’s a dog with personality, quirks, and a whole lot of love to give. He may not be a puppy, but that just means he comes with a bit of wisdom, a settled spirit, and an appreciation for the finer things in life—like warm laps and afternoon naps.
