Colors of the Valley
Terri Jacobson Photography is collaborating with 4 All Muttkind to create the Colors of the Valley: 2027 calendar.
This limited-edition fundraiser will feature 14 alumni dogs, photographed throughout the Willamette Valley in seasonal, color-inspired locations.
Each portrait celebrates the beauty of rescue while raising funds to support future dogs in need.
How This Fundraiser Works
This is a community-centered calendar project designed to:
- Celebrate 4 All Muttkind alumni
- Highlight the beauty of the Willamette Valley
- Raise funds directly for rescue efforts
Each participating dog is assigned a seasonal month and photographed in a location that reflects that color story.

Seasonal Scheduling & Location Details
Sessions take place at sunrise or approximately two hours before sunset to capture the best natural light.
Locations are selected based on bloom timing, seasonal conditions, accessibility, and land permissions. Because this project follows the natural rhythms of the Willamette Valley, some sessions may require shorter planning windows when flowers peak or weather conditions align.
I will do my best to provide at least 48 hours’ notice once seasonal conditions are confirmed.
Weather & Temperature Guidelines
Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first.
• Light rain – We’re good to go.
• Heavy rain or unsafe conditions – We will reschedule.
• 80°F and cooler – We’re good to go.
• 81–89°F – I will reach out to determine what is best for your dog.
• 90°F and above – We will reschedule.
Final dates and exact locations will be shared in advance whenever possible.
Some locations (such as flower farms or specialty fields) may require an entrance or access fee, which is the responsibility of the participating family.
Sessions are designed to be simple, efficient, and centered on your dog.
