My Evening Garden Sessions in Salem, Oregon are designed for dogs and their people who want a portrait experience that feels relaxed, private, and unhurried. These sessions take place in my fully fenced garden studio in NE Salem, where we create natural, artful portraits in beautiful evening light.

Each Evening Garden Session is built around your dog from the start. Some dogs race into the garden ready to explore. Some stay close. Some take a few minutes to sniff, wander, and figure it all out. That is exactly what we want.
These sessions are designed to feel easy, with:

- A fully fenced acre of gardens to explore safely
- Time to settle in, sniff, wander, and relax

Investment
The session fee is $175 and includes:
- Your Evening Garden Session
- A private ordering appointment
- One professionally finished 5×7" print
- Matching digital file
These sessions are designed for clients who want to create finished artwork for their home, not just keep images on a screen.
A Few Practical Notes
- Ideal temperatures: 80° and cooler
- 81–89°: we’ll evaluate together
- 90° and above: we reschedule
- Light rain: we may continue if conditions are workable
- Heavy rain or downpour: we reschedule
Sessions typically take place about two hours before sunset, when the light is at its best.
Pets should arrive on leash or in a carrier for safe entry into the studio and garden.
Availability
A limited number of Evening Garden Sessions are available each week so every session has the time and space it deserves.
Most weeks fill in advance.
