Hondo Returns to Transylvania—Let’s Conjure Up a Home

Roxy would like to clarify that she was told this was a spa day.

Hondo is checking the accommodations.

These two joined me in Transylvania for a little Halloween mischief, but Hondo’s visit had another purpose: helping this sweet boy find a family of his own.

Big Puppy. Gentle Soul.

I first photographed Hondo in February. He’s still waiting for his people, and I was happy to have another chance to put him in front of my camera.

What I love most about Hondo is his gentle soul. He’s still an exuberant puppy, with plenty of energy and enthusiasm, but there’s a softness to him that I wanted you to see.

That’s why I was especially excited to photograph him with Roxy, his foster family’s little dog. The size difference is pretty adorable. But it’s those little moments together that I love most.

Sometimes a picture really is worth a thousand words.

A Little Magic, a Family of His Own

Hondo is being fostered by Cassie at Farm’s Pet Services. Roxy already has her family; Hondo is looking for his.
